Apex Fusion Foundation debuts blockchain ecosystem and AP3X token

The Apex Fusion Foundation, a decentralized technologies platform, has launched its blockchain ecosystem and native token, AP3X, as per the reports shared with Finbold on Thursday, February 20.

With the blockchain live, the project integrates Bitcoin’s (BTC) unspent transaction output (UTXO) security model with Ethereum (ETH) Virtual Machine (EVM) programmability, which helps create a more stable and intricate staking framework.

AP3X will be listed on LBANK starting February 20, 2025, with initial yields estimated at around 10% per year.

Apex Fusion’s PRIME Chain

At the heart of the launch is PRIME, the network’s first operational chain, designed to establish a decentralized staking model.

Over 130 stake pool operators (SPOs) have already been employed to secure the network, and AP3X token holders can participate in liquid native staking to earn annual rewards and promote network security.

Looking ahead, Apex Fusion plans to expand its ecosystem with two additional layers: NEXUS, an EVM-compatible Layer-2 (L2) chain for smart contracts, and VECTOR, a high-speed UTXO-based L2 for cost-efficient transactions.

The upcoming Reactor Bridge will also further enhance interoperability and enable faster cross-chain transfers.

Promoting transparency and regulatory compliance

Governance and regulatory compliance are at the heart of Apex Fusion Foundation’s long-term strategy.

The AP3X token has been classified as a utility token, which provides clear regulatory guidance for network participants, including PRIME Chain stakers.

As Apex Fusion continues to improve its infrastructure, its multi-chain vision will come into focus more and more.
