CryptosRus Founder Calls XRP-Cardano Alliance “Unstoppable Force” Citing Community Strength
- George Tung praises XRP and Cardano as having strongest communities and most dedicated holders
- Combined force could leverage both ecosystems’ size and loyalty for market influence
- Recent collaboration includes RLUSD integration plans and Midnight airdrop for XRP holders
George Tung, founder of CryptosRus, has highlighted the potential power of combining XRP and Cardano ecosystems, describing their unified communities as capable of creating an “unstoppable force” in the cryptocurrency market.
His assessment centers on both projects maintaining the strongest, most dedicated holder bases in the industry, with supporters willing to maintain positions through extended market downturns and regulatory challenges.
Tung’s commentary comes as renewed collaboration between the XRP and Cardano communities has begun materializing after years of tension. Both ecosystems have maintained active developer communities, influential voices, and committed investors who continue supporting their respective projects despite market volatility and external pressures that have affected other cryptocurrency communities.

Historical Tensions Give Way to Strategic Collaboration
The strength of both communities became particularly evident during challenging periods, including the SEC’s lawsuit against Ripple that severely impacted XRP’s price and market access.
While some investors liquidated positions during the legal proceedings, a core group of holders maintained their XRP positions throughout the uncertainty, demonstrating the loyalty that Tung highlighted in his assessment.
Previous friction between the communities stemmed from regulatory disparities, particularly the SEC’s decision to grant Ethereum favorable treatment while pursuing enforcement actions against XRP. Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson initially faced resistance from XRP supporters when he criticized this regulatory approach, creating divisions between the communities.
However, Hoskinson ended hostilities last year by apologizing to XRP enthusiasts and proposing collaborative initiatives that could benefit both ecosystems. His outreach efforts have since developed into concrete proposals for cross-ecosystem integration and mutual support mechanisms.
Current collaboration efforts include Hoskinson’s push for Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin to launch on Cardano’s network. He has been in discussions with Ripple’s team about adding Cardano to the list of supported networks for RLUSD, which would provide additional utility for ADA holders while expanding Ripple’s stablecoin reach.
The integration extends to airdrop opportunities, with XRP holders becoming eligible for the upcoming Midnight token distribution. This initiative will distribute NIGHT and DUST tokens to 37 million cryptocurrency wallets, providing additional value to XRP community members while promoting Cardano’s privacy-focused Midnight protocol.
Technical integration plans include XRP support within Cardano’s Lace wallet, enabling users to store, send, and receive XRP alongside ADA. This multi-chain functionality would demonstrate the wallet’s interoperability capabilities while providing practical utility for both communities.
