Internet Computer (ICP) Leads Crypto Development with Highest GitHub Commits

Over the past 12 months, the cryptocurrency space has seen different levels of development in terms of commits on GitHub – a prominent platform for tracking development. This activity, measured in “commits”. Leading with the highest number of commits is Internet Computer (ICP) which has 9166 commits. Cosmos (ATOM) has also been quite busy with 2,350 commits contributing to building a connected blockchain network. Another popular decentralized project is PancakeSwap (CAKE), which has 2,262 commits, speaking about its attempts to enhance its functions and interfaces.

Moreover, Storj (STORJ) that provides cloud storage has 1,779 commits, which indicates that the company is working to create its decentralized storage services. Lastly, eCash (XEC) has the least number of commits with 1,654, although it is still being actively developed in its new proof-of-space and time consensus mechanism.
