Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi Kusama endorses bold 2025 crypto predictions from Binji Pande, an Optimism developer and former product manager at Coinbase.

In a post on X, Pande shared a set of predictions for the crypto industry in 2025. He highlighted transformative changes that could redefine the space.

Specifically, Pande outlined 25 key forecasts in the tweet, covering everything from token economics to AI integration and governance. Shiba Inu’s Shytoshi Kusama showed endorsement of the forecast by calling public attention to it.

DEXes Volume Will Surpass CEXes

One of the top predictions is the surge in block space demand, which Pande expects to increase tenfold in 2025. The widespread adoption of decentralized platforms will likely drive this growth.

In parallel, he predicted that in 2025, there would be at least one occasion when decentralized exchanges (DEXes) would flip centralized exchanges (CEXes) in 24-hour trading volume.
