Expert Says It’s Highly Possible XRP Will Reach $100–$1000: Here’s the Timeline

Matthew Brienen, Chief Operating Officer at CryptoCharged, has made bold price predictions for XRP, arguing that a four-digit price is “highly possible.”

In a short video shared on his YouTube channel, Brienen revealed that XRP represents his largest holding. Specifically, XRP makes up 50% of his portfolio, and he mentioned that he has been amassing it for over five years at low prices.

Brienen noted that he has both long-term and short-term views for XRP. He plans to sell a significant portion of his XRP holdings for profit. However, he intends to keep some for a 5 to 10-year outlook.

Factors Influencing Long-term Perspective for XRP

The foundation of his long-term outlook stems from XRP’s utility in remittance services. He sees great potential for the asset in this market. “I see the potential with remittance payments and moving money around the world in five seconds for a fraction of a penny,” he said.

Consequently, Brienen argued that from a “technical standpoint,” XRP could be worth anywhere from $100 to $1,000 within the next ten years. He added that this outlook could take longer or develop more quickly “depending on how cycles mature.”

Notably, XRP is worth $2.41 per token today, with a market cap of $139 billion. A unit price of $100 to $1,000 would elevate this market cap to between $5.7 trillion and $57 trillion. Achieving this lofty position would require an extraordinary growth of 41,393%.

Comparing XRP to Bitcoin and Ethereum

Brienen further bolstered his confidence in this outlook by citing the historical trajectories of Bitcoin and Ethereum, hoping a similar scenario could play out for XRP.

Bitcoin is the only multi-trillion-dollar crypto asset, while Ethereum reached a half-trillion-dollar market cap in the last cycle.

Notably, considering its floor price of $2,600, Ethereum has increased by 619,116% from its all-time low nine years ago, according to CoinMarketCap data. Bitcoin’s performance is even more impressive, with a 196,866,457% gain from its all-time low of $0.048 15 years ago.

In XRP’s case, it has grown 85,773% from its all-time low relative to its current price. While XRP’s historical performance still pales compared to Bitcoin and Ethereum, Brienen is confident that XRP has significant growth potential over the next decade.

Other Analysts’ Timeline for $100 to $1,000 Price

Brienen is not alone in this long-term outlook for XRP. Many financial commentators in the XRP community have issued similar bold predictions, expecting a triple-digit price for XRP.

Interestingly, some ambitious commentators are predicting a $100 could happen this year. However, others caution that such aspirations are for the distant future, not immediate expectations.

While Brienen projects a ten-year outlook for a $1,000 price, analysts at Telegaon suggest that even in 25 years, XRP may not even approach $500.
